Covenant Media Foundation
A Little History
In 1983, Dr. Greg Bahnsen was receiving many requests for copies of his sermons and lectures-more requests than he could handle. So, he asked his parents, Bob and Virginia Bahnsen if they would consider filling those requests for tapes and publications. After prayerful consideration Covenant Tape Ministry was started as a "weekend" ministry. A typed list of available materials was photocopied and distributed to those who asked for it. Gradually, the tape ministry grew as the demand for Dr. Bahnsen's instruction steadily increased.
In 1992, Covenant Tape Ministry took a giant step and published its first major catalog. Other conveniences were added over the next several years, such as the acceptance of major credit cards and an 800 order number. By 1994 the ministry had grown beyond a full-time labor for Bob and Virginia (approximately 7,000 audio tapes sold that year). Pastor Randy Booth began to work part-time with CTM as the ministry continued to expand.
On December 11th, 1995, Dr. Bahnsen died after his third open-heart surgery. For those involved with CTM the concern for the tape ministry was to take steps to preserve and expand Dr. Bahnsen's teaching legacy. As a result, Covenant Media Foundation (CMF) was formed as a non-profit ministry. CMF began operation in January of 1996 and purchased Covenant Tape Ministry. In 2001, CMF moved to Nacogdoches, TX, and is now a ministry of Grace Covenant Church, where CMF director, Randy Booth, is the pastor.
Mission Statement
It is the purpose of Covenant Media Foundation to promote sound biblical education and training for Christians at all levels. We are committed to working with believers from a wide range of theological backgrounds and associations, in the Spirit of Christ, with the common goal of advancing the kingdom of God both in the lives of individual Christians and throughout the culture. We are represented by speakers from several denominations.
Donations
The sales of tapes and publications generally cover our day-to-day operating costs for materials, rent, utilities, and salaries. Other costs, such as new equipment, publishing projects and other special ministries depend on your generous donations to CMF. Your gifts and monthly contributions enable us to expand the influence of the CMF ministry in countless ways.
Again, we appreciate your help in multiplying the effect of the educational ministry of CMF.
Our Association With
Christ Theological Seminary
We are proud to work with Christ Seminary as co-laborers training men and women for service in Christ's kingdom. However, Covenant Media Foundation is a SEPARATE ministry from Christ Seminary.

Duplication and Distribution
CMF is grateful for your interest and is happy to provide these materials for Christian education to you. We hope you will find them a blessing. If you know others who would also benefit from such cds and publications, please feel free to pass your order to them when you are finished. We really want to get the word out.
However, we would kindly request that you please do not reproduce the materials on your own. Remember that it is our speaker's efforts, education and research which have gone into producing these materials and it is by these labors that they support themselves and their families. CMF pays royalties to the speakers
Satisfaction Guaranteed!
Many of the CMF tapes were not produced in a studio. We have relied mostly upon "on-site" production. CMF has no control over the master tapes which we receive from a variety of sources, representing different levels of recording experience or tape quality. Sometimes there is diminished voice or recording quality, background noises, or the cd ends before a lecture is finished. We have attempted to identify all specific problems and have retained useable but less-than-perfect cds only where we felt they were still worth distributing because of their excellent and edifying content.
However, we desire your complete satisfaction. We therefore request that you please return any cds if your are dissatisfied with the quality of the recording or where the reproduction was in any way defective. We will make every effort to correct the situation, replace defective cds, or supply an alternative for you. Please contact us immediately if you experience difficulty. It is our intention to provide you with dependable service.
